Cookie & Tracking Policy

This Policy explains how Struxy uses cookies, browser storage and similar technologies on struxy.app and related web experiences.

For information about personal data more generally, see our Privacy Policy.

1. What we mean by “tracking technologies”

Websites and applications can store or access information on your device using technologies such as cookies, local storage, session storage, software-development-kit identifiers, and similar browser/application storage.

Some of these technologies are necessary for a service to work. Others, such as analytics, are optional.

2. Our approach

Struxy aims to keep tracking limited.

We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies to build advertising profiles about you.

We distinguish between:

1. strictly necessary technologies, which are required to provide a feature you request or to keep the service secure; and
2. optional analytics technologies, which are used only after you consent where consent is required.

3. Strictly necessary storage

Theme preference

Struxy may store a theme preference so the website can remember whether you selected light or dark appearance.

Example key: struxy-theme
Purpose: remember a user-requested display preference.

Consent preference

We store your analytics/cookie choice so we do not repeatedly ask you for the same decision.

Purpose: remember whether you granted or declined optional analytics.

Checkout state

When you start a Founding Beta checkout, temporary session storage may remember information needed to complete or retry the checkout.

Purpose: preserve the checkout flow you requested.

This information is not used for advertising.

Authentication and security

The Struxy application and its authentication provider may use local or session storage necessary to keep you signed in, verify authentication, protect the session, and perform account actions you request.

4. First-touch attribution

When you arrive at Struxy, the page may read information already present in the page request, such as the landing URL, document.referrer, UTM campaign parameters, and advertising click identifiers contained in the incoming URL.

Struxy may temporarily hold this information in memory so that, if you submit the beta-access form, we can record how that request reached us.

We do not persist non-essential attribution information on your device before consent unless the storage is strictly necessary for a service you requested.

If you consent to analytics, attribution information may also be associated with anonymous analytics events.

5. Optional analytics — PostHog

If you choose Accept analytics, Struxy may enable PostHog.

PostHog helps us understand how many people visit Struxy, which pages/product areas are used, where users encounter errors or abandon a flow, which campaigns/referring sites lead to legitimate interest, and how beta conversion funnels perform.

Depending on the configuration, PostHog may use an anonymous or pseudonymous identifier to connect events from the same browser or session.

We configure analytics to avoid intentionally capturing the contents of personal Struxy captures or payment-card details.

6. What happens if you decline analytics?

Core Struxy functionality should remain available.

If you decline analytics, PostHog should not be initialised for optional analytics, optional pageview/product-analytics events should not be sent, and non-essential analytics identifiers should not be stored.

Strictly necessary storage may still be used.

7. Changing your choice

You may change or withdraw optional analytics consent at any time.

The website must provide a persistent Cookie settings or equivalent control that allows you to review your current choice, decline optional analytics, or accept optional analytics.

Withdrawing consent should be as easy as giving it.

When consent is withdrawn, Struxy should stop future optional analytics. Existing analytics already collected lawfully before withdrawal may remain subject to the retention period described above.

8. Third parties

Where analytics is enabled, PostHog processes analytics data on our behalf.

Other infrastructure providers may receive ordinary network requests necessary to deliver the website, such as hosting, CDN or security providers. Those network operations are not used by Struxy as behavioural advertising.

9. Updates

We may update this Policy if we add, remove or materially change cookies or similar technologies.
